Wedding invitations are important for evry wedding, but they don't have to gobble up your budget. There are ways to make lovely wedding invitations while saving a lot. Read on to find out how.
Sure, they only consist of papers and laces, but when you think about it, wedding invitations are an important part of your wedding ceremony. It contains the name of the couple to be married, the location of the ceremony, the names of the sponsors and other people who will be part of it. While they are important in any wedding, you don't have to spend a fortune on this aspect. Depending on the size of the guests, your budget for wedding invitations might be a big or small. If you will have many guests, consider buying invitations in bulk from party stores or wedding warehouses.
But if you have the talent to create handmade invitations, that is great. Other people can do calligraphy. Maybe you have a friend who has the talent for that. You can ask her out, making that as her gift for you. Don't use expensive scented papers. Use ordinary ones from bookstores or craft shops or from wholesalers. After all, they won't take notice and they'll just thrown them away when the wedding is over. You can make cute add ons like your photos, or poems and paper flowers.
